One-Line Bio

I like to travel. I usually go to places that most people would never consider. This blog will be used to record my adventures, both past and future. I have been to London, Paris, Scotland, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Solvakia, Bulgaria, Japan, China. I have been dog sledding in Minnesota (Outward Bound), winter mountaineering in Scotland (Outward Bound), and on a mountain survival course in Utah (Boulder Outdoor Survival School). I have also been activley involved in ministry, which has turned out to be an adventure in itself.

I current work at a bank but I want to someday teach political science at the university level.

Core Values:

Everyone one should have core values. That is a prism that all decision and actions are made through. The following are my core values.

Always maintain a good attitude. (Phil. 2:5)

Have endurance to "finish the race". (2 Tim. 4:7)

Family (Joshua 24:15)

Integrity (Ps 25:21)

Teachability (Ex 33:13)

Statement of Faith:

The Bible is True

I believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

The Trinity

I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:6-8)

Jesus is Lord

I believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (1 Cor. 15:3-4, 1 Peter 2:18-24, John 3:16)

Salvation by Grace

I believe that salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Roman 3:21-30, Gal. 4:4-7)

I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the Resurrection of life; and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:24, 28, 29)

Healing from Sickness

I believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. (Isa. 53.4, Matt. 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, John 5:6-14, 1 Peter 2:24)

Return of Jesus

I believe in the imminent return of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (1 Thess. 4:13-18, Rev. 22:20, John 14:3)

Propose for Life

God has created everyone for a specific purpose in life. (Jer. 29:11)
